Day 10 - Holy Walk

Audio

Ephesians 5:15–16 “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

Paul describes our Christian life as a walk. A walk is not one dramatic step—it is the direction we take, step after step, day after day. A holy walk means being intentional about how we live. We do not simply drift through our days. We ask, “Does the way I am living reflect Christ?”

Paul says, “Be very careful how you live.” Our time, conversations, relationships, work, rest, priorities, and responses all become part of our walk with God. We can know God's truth and still walk carelessly. Paul also says, “making the most of every opportunity.” Every day God gives us opportunities to love, serve, encourage, forgive, speak truth, and reflect Christ. Holiness is not only found in church or in quiet times with God—it is revealed in how we walk through ordinary life.

The question is not simply, “What am I doing?” but “How am I walking?” Are my daily steps taking me closer to Christ, or am I slowly drifting away? A holy walk is a life that is awake, intentional, and purposeful—walking with Christ in the ordinary moments of every day.

Reflection:

What does my daily walk reveal about what matters most to me?

Application:

Today, slow down and notice your steps. In one ordinary situation—at home, at work, in a conversation, or when facing stress—choose to walk in a way that reflects Christ.

Don't drift. Walk deliberately with Jesus.
